General Use Electrical Tapes

Temflex™ 1300

Highly flexible and still sufficiently strong PVC insulation tape. It is supplied in 9 colors or as a combination (10 rolls of different colors in one spool).  This is a tape which should be in every tool box.

Usage:

• electrical insulation up to 1 kV
• bundling and fixing
• color coding
• mechanical protection.

 

 

Temflex™ 1500

High quality practical PVC insulation tape for everyday use. Complies with IEC 60454-3-1-5/F-PVCP/90 standard and is VDE marked. Resistant to oil and solvents, has a high dielectric strength, self-extinguishing. It is comfortable to use even in temperatures just above zero.

Usage:

• electrical insulation up to 1 kV
• fixing and bundling lead wires
• cable sheathing repairs
• color coding
• mechanical protection.

 

Scotch^® 35

This is a colored version of Scotch^® 33+ and has almost identical features. Supplied in 9 different colors. Can be also used for marking and insulation for the most demanding applications, whether because of installation temperature, operational temperature or the long life demanded.

Usage:

• electrical insulation
• color coding
• universal use.

 

Scotch^® 710

Black PVC insulation tape of a higher class. High mechanical strength while conformable, resistant to abrasion, acid, alkalis, oils and solvents, and also UV light. Complies with IEC 60454-3-1-6/F-PVCP/90 standard
and is VDE marked. Resistant to moisture, has high dielectric strength
and is self-extinguishing.

Usage:

• electrical insulation up to 1 kV
• fixing and bundling lead wires
• cable sheathing repairs
• mechanical protection
• for indoor and outdoor, temperatures below zero.

 

Scotch^® 2000

A grey PVC adhesive tape, 50 mm wide with an excellent initial tack and a specific embossing for easy tear, both in the longitudinal and the transversal direction. When being torn by hand, the tear is always straight. Does not contain cloth, therefore it does not absorb water. Still, it has high tensile strength while being well conformable.

Usage:

• suitable for bundling cables
• for temporary fixing of cables to floors and walls at
  exhibitions and other short-term installations.

 

The tape adheres well to various substrates and is cleanly removable without any residues.  Not recommended for insulation or sealing.

 

Scotch^® 22

PVC insulating tape with high thickness. It provides better protection against mechanical stress and has high abrasion resistance. It is also resistant to UV light and is suitable for minor repairs to cable sheathing.

Usage:

• cable sheathing repairs
• mechanical protection
• busbar insulation.

 

Tested and approved for repairs of damaged LV aerial cables and insulated HV aerial lead wires in the Czech Republic.

 

Scotch^® Super 33+

Top quality PVC insulating tape for the greatest demands. World-wide quality standard of insulation tapes. Resistant to UV light, chemicals, moisture, acid and solvents. It is suitable as electrical insulation for the most demanding conditions. Highly comfortable for use.
Even though it is of high thickness, it is highly conformable and flexible, up to –18° C. It resists a permanent temperature of 105°C and
even in such a high temperature, the adhesive is cleanly removable from parts, leaving no residues.

Usage:

• electrical insulation for both indoors and outdoors
• life of the installed tape responds to the life of the cable
• general purpose tape
• protective tape.

Scotch^® Super 88

A stronger version of Scotch^® Super 33+. Comfortable for use in temperatures of up to -20°C. Suitable for work in any weather conditions. Resistant to aging, acid, alkalis, UV light and solvents.

Usage:

• electrical insulation
• work in very low temperatures
• a protective tape.
