3M™ Jet-Weld™ Thermoset Adhesive System

3M™ Jet-Weld™ adhesives are one-component structural adhesives which do not require stirring. They provide short mounting times as they first behave as melt adhesives (manipulation strength) and after cooling they are immediately hardened in the reaction with air humidity (structural strength).

Easy and fast application and at the same time a structural strength bond.

 

3M™ Jet-Weld™ adhesives provide bond strength and operational properties similar to two-component adhesives without the need for long fastening or catching. Everything that is usually needed is a simple straightening with a hand.

Jet-Weld™ adhesives provide a sufficient time for placing or moving the bonded parts to the right position. Then, in a few seconds after pressing, they harden into the manipulation strength. The full strength is reached within about 20 minutes up to several hours in dependence on the material and the application.

Jet-Weld™ is applied with a manual melting gun but it can also be applied by rolling, spraying or with a  slot nozzle of special applicators. The adhesive temperature for application is 120°C.
